Getting made redundant in the summer: why it’s not such a bad thing after all

I was made redundant about a month ago – very sad but that’s the way life
goes sometimes. I’ve got lots of freelance work lined up, so the pressure’s off.
On the plus side, I’ve had time to entertain at home, have friends over for lunch,
read my book and mags in the common and last Wednesday I met up with
Robyn and Julz at Tooting Lido. We got to tan, swim, read and Robs and I had
a Scrabble challenge. I suppose I should just make the most of my time off hey?
Back to work next week Tuesday.

Thanks Jo. Have been! Can’t believe my time off has come to an end already. Anyway, need to get back to work so I can save to enjoy my holiday back home. Not long to go now. xx
