Rye, Sussex / 01

I went to go visit Soph and Willa in their new home in Rye last Monday.
Hitched a ride there with Emma and her baby, Liberty. It’s about a two
hour drive out of London – was fine most of the way but felt super car
sick by the time we got there! Lots of windy roads and me trying to read
the map on my phone. Not a good combination.

Anyway, it was all worth it once we got there. Soph made us risotto with
salad and a crumble for dessert. We were so well fed that I couldn’t even
eat supper when I got home that night.

Catherine came over for lunch too, with her son, Harry, and her daughter
Margot. This was the first time I met Margot and she’s nearly a year already.

First, some pictures of where we were, what we saw and what we ate.
Tomorrow’s instalment will be pictures of all the kids.
