Tapestry

I bought this for Jo years ago – she saw it online and loved the print. It’s a tapestry which
spells out the word ‘HUG’ with patterns inside and out of the letters. It’s quite intricate with
lots of different colours and quite a confusing pattern. But once you get into it, it’s just so
addictive! Aunty Colleen taught me how to cross stitch and read the pattern and I’ve been hooked ever since. OK, I’ve got a lot of time on my hands at the moment but this is the best time for it I think.

I laughed the other day when I saw myself in bed, aircon on, feet up, listening to classical
music whilst doing my tapestry. My, my, my, how times have changed! It’s therapeutic
though. It really calms me down and once I start, I struggle to put it down. Last night I
only got to bed at 11.30pm because I had to finish a certain patch of it. So tired today
but all worth it in the end once this beauty is finished and I can hand it back to my sister.
