Some pics from when Freya stayed with her aunt and uncle. Jo always sends me pics if we’re apart so I can see what she’s up to. I even get pics of her when she’s fast asleep! Just so I know all is well. I love the updates and it keeps me sane while we’re apart. Thanks for looking after our baby girl like she’s your own my sista.
We went to Port Edward this weekend for Sheldon’s friend’s wedding. It was at such a beautiful venue – Umtamvuna River Lodge. We loved it so much that we want to go back there for a short weekender holiday. And this time we’ll take Freya. She stayed with her aunt and uncle and got to play with her cousins – so she was in good hands. She loves her time there as there’s always so much on the go with Jake and Milla around. She’s completely in awe and loves following them around.
We woke up on Sunday at 7am and instead of chilling and relaxing and enjoying our time alone, we were up and at ’em, in the shower and on the road by 8am and back at Jo and Steve’s by 9.30am. The smile we got from our little girl was just the best. My sister and I just burst out crying when we saw her reaction!
Introducing Mr and Mrs Solomon…
So the ‘N’ button on my keyboard no longer works. It’s so annoying. You really do need “N’s” in your life. So once my laptop is fixed, I’ll get back on the ol’ blog. I’m not sure how you’ll all cope without me for so long but please do try.
Over and out.
So we’re moving house yet again. It feels like we’ve only just moved in to this place. But we’ve found our dream home, the sale’s gone through and we have the keys to our new home. Can’t believe this has actually happened. Anyway, I’m busy packing up now and we move on Monday, so the posts might stop for a while I’m afraid. I need to focus on nesting.
I will be back though. Please be patient my loyal followers.
…for the lack of posts lately. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to sit down and work on my blog. The next few weeks are going to be manic as well. I’ve got Nat C from London coming to stay for a week at our place. Then it’s Nat O’s wedding on the 28th. And then the day after Nat C leaves, my mother-in-law is coming to stay to get some much needed quality time with her granddaughter. I’ll get my A into G as soon as I have a free moment. Who knows when that will be?
Nat came over for a visit the other night and bought these cute socks for Freya.
They’ve got such sweet baby gear at Mr Price. She also bought us takeaway from
Spiga D’Oro and a bottle of red to celebrate Sheldon’s birthday at home with us.
Thanks again Nat. Love having you just up the road from us.
If you read my blog, then please click on the button on the right hand side that says ‘Sign me up bad boy’. If you don’t want to get an email alert when I add a new post, then just click on that option. I’d like to know how many followers I have and I think there are more people reading my blog who haven’t signed up.
Go on, you know you want to.
Also, one more thing, if you want to say something about a post of mine, then please comment. It’s so nice when people comment – that way I know people are actually reading what I have to say!
So now that we’ve been given the green light to take Freya out in to the big wide world,
we took a giant leap and decided to join my sister and her family in San Lameer over the Easter weekend. I packed her bag the night before – probably over packed but I wasn’t sure what I was doing, so thought rather safe than sorry. Actually worked out that I used everything that I packed. She makes a lot of mess for such a small thing!
We had a really good time – even ventured to the beach with her. She stayed in her carry cot under a tent and we were only there for an hour. She slept the whole time. I think it was good for her to get some fresh, sea air though. Sheldon and I even had a quick dip in the sea – it was freezing but we had to get in.
